How did you do that? Did you have to upload and image and name it GoBlue?

The image was already on my site (see my Themes on the Download page). I made the code map a simple name to a full path name (like mapping a card name in Magic or whatever the guy who wanted the code used to a file name).

So somewhere in the forum software "GoBlue" is linked to the URL http://www.svpocketpc.com/images/Crossb ... dscape.jpg?

It's not really in the forum software. There's a JavaScript file to display the tool tips (which contain images). In the JavaScript, I use some functions to change the simple card name into the URL of the actual image. It's basically like

Code: Select all
if name = "GoBlue" then URL = "http://www.svpocketpc.com/images/GoBlue_Theme_QVGA_Landscape.jpg"
else if name = "Test" then URL = "http://www.svpocketpc.com/images/Test.jpg"
else Display error

If you didn't want the name mapping and just wanted to specify a real URL and the text yourself, that would also be easy to do.

I'm not sure what you're asking. The tooltip code is in a separate file. The code that includes that file is in overall_header.html:

Code: Select all
<!-- ADDED BY SHM -->
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript" src="/scripts/tooltip.js"></script>
<link rel="STYLESHEET" type="text/css" href="/styles/tooltip.css" />
<link rel="SHORTCUT ICON" type="images/x-icon" href="/svppc.ico">
</head>

<body id="phpbb" class="section-{SCRIPT_NAME} {S_CONTENT_DIRECTION}">
<!-- ADDED BY SHM -->
<div id="dhtmltooltip"></div>

<!-- ADDED BY SHM -->
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
<!--
InitTooltip();
-->
</script>

It's barely a MOD. :D

My earlier post had bad links (which I've fixed, although Test was just an example). GoBlue is really at http://www.svpocketpc.com/images/GoBlue_Theme_QVGA_Landscape.jpg.

How did you make GoBlue link to that URL?
