Age of Empires Screen Rotation

Postby mpg187 » Wed Nov 18, 2009 4:57 pm

Age of Empires flips the screen after the initial screen that says "Microsoft" and Ensemble Studios.

My phone and iPAQ flip is different ways. On my iPAQ and turn it counter-clockwise to see it normally. On my phone it's the oposite. How can I make my phone flip it the same way as my iPAQ?

I have no idea. Maybe there's a setting in the game that controls screen orientation. If not, you might try contacting the developer.

If there was a setting then wouldn't by default it be the same? There has to be something more to it...

Not necessarily. Maybe you accidentally changed it on one device but not the other (maybe through some button combination), maybe the programmer has a database of devices that tells which way to rotate the screen, but for devices it doesn't know, it rotates in a fixed direction.

However, I'm just guessing here. Your best bet is to contact the developer and ask. You could also try looking for a registry setting that controls rotation and change that.
