Now I haven't figured out exactly why you'd want a web server on your PDA, but it seems that you can do it.

these type of apps are great when you figure out what you'd use it for

Someone still has to explain to me an application where you'd really want a web server on your iPaq.
This is probably useless to most other than a toy, but for me it comes in handy.

My scenario was I had some songs I my phone I put on my PSP Go. (I used Youtube Play to download them and pull the MP3s out. It would take too long to turn my computer on.

Unfortunately there would be no way to use FTP as my PSP Go cannot yet run [bwe]homebrew[/bwe] and the PSP's crappy internet browser doesn't support FTP. However, my phone supports "homebrew" such as this server so what I did was run the web server on my phone and using the PSPs internet browser I downloaded the files.

It still seems like a long way to go to avoid turning your PC on.... :D

Steve

P.S. What is the BWE tag supposed to do?

I'm too lazy to type it out, so I'll just link to the thread I made a long time ago.
